Who am I?

I’m Matt Seitz, the Director of the AI Hub for Business at the University of Wisconsin. Before this role, I spent 14 years at Google where I led the multibillion US Retail search business, and nearly every conversation was about AI.

I spend 15-20 hours a week following AI and its impact on business and society. My goal is to write something that you’ll enjoy reading and make you smarter.

You can find more about my work, talks, and projects at mattseitz.ai.

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong nerd who competes in Ironmans, tells Dad jokes and suffers with the Chicago Bears and Haas F1 team.
